Adi brings the fresh Bollywood Hip Hop vibes to STL all the way from Los Angeles! We are so lucky to have Adi teaching at YES HONEY while he is here as a student at Wash U. Adi is on the schedule during the school year (and home during the summer).

Adi teaches YES MOVE & YES CHOREO Bollywood/Hip Hop, which is a fusion of traditional Indian dance styles with modern hip hop moves. Expect a high energy, super fun workout!

We are also SO excited that Adi will be teaching Shuffle workshops at YES HONEY starting this fall!

If you have been looking for a local Bollywood dance fitness class, OR if you are a YES HONEY regular wanting to try something new, this is the class for you!

Anneka is a truly fun and hilariously witty person, as well as a versatile and well trained dancer. We’re SO lucky she came all the way from England to St. Louis! Anneka's classes can range from commercial hip hop to heels inspired dance, and always brings in a lot of booty work. This is a high energy, bold hour of self expression. Anneka's choreography is great for advanced dancers but also incredibly accessible for beginners. We always recommend Anneka’s class for first timers.

Arik is truly an artist, he lives and breathes creativity. Arik's class is hip hop, and it's so cool and fun. His class is a more intermediate class. Beginners are welcome, but expect that all his classes kick up the choreo. His music consists of modern grooves as well as throwbacks. Arik is known for his footwork, but breaks it down and makes it easy to follow. Arik breaks down his choreography while keeping up high energy moves. It gets real sweaty y'all.

Also, Arik is amazing at tutting, so if you get lucky (or if you request) he will throw in some tutting routines.

Youngest Instructor at Yes Honey!! Ashley is an incredibly technically trained dancer that is knowledgeable in all styles. Ashley's classes are a variety hour YES MOVE with weekly themes ranging from from jazz, to Hiphop, to reggaeton/dancehall. While all classes are welcoming to beginners and are dance fitness vs choreography based classes, Ashley's are on the more advanced end, so if you want to step it up a notch, this is a not to miss class! Ashley's energy and creativity is unmatched at Yes Honey.

All the way from Los Angeles is an incredibly passionate and expressive dance instructor! Her emphasis on movement, living in the moment, and the freedom of expression through dance is inspiring. Chanel's focus on R&B and using dance as a way to tap into one's vulnerability and sense of sensuality creates a space for individuals to explore different facets of themselves through movement.

Creating an environment where everyone can feel comfortable and confident to express themselves in new and unexpected ways is a beautiful way to approach dance. Her class seems to offer a unique and empowering experience, encouraging dancers to embrace their inner artists while having fun and enjoying the freedom that dance provides.

Clay has been teaching barre for 8 years and started his teaching in Springfield, Missouri. Clay has taught at several studios from Physique Fitness to The studio by Jamie Kinkade. Clay has taught a variety of barre classes from hot barre, barreless barre and stacked barre. Get ready for a booty growin, sweaty good time!

Dezzie is an all around performer who sings, raps, dances and more!  

Their dance style is all about duality being smooth yet hard hitting and sensual yet fun all at the same time. Growing up she participated in many dance teams but now she has a team of her own known for hitting the local stages behind some amazing artists new and old. 

She has an eclectic taste in music so she appreciates all dance styles from k-pop, heels, ballet, and more. A breath of fresh air with a welcoming attitude that pushes everyone let loose and just feel it.

Hailey is a STL native with a background in strength and conditioning. Her love of fitness and passion for helping others enjoy their journey towards looking and feeling their best keeps her classes lively and engaging. Hailey personal fitness routine includes boxing, strength training, yoga and dance - all of which she enjoys incorporating into her classes.

In Hailey’s YES STRENGTH classes you can expect to exhaust your crucial core muscles through a series of full body movements to an upbeat playlist that will keep you having fun while putting in WORK. Hailey accommodates all fitness levels by providing modifications and alternate movements when necessary. Check out one of her classes to see what the hype is all about!

Jenny, the owner of YES HONEY, created the space as her dream fitness studio. Jenny's background is in personal training, teaching group fitness and yoga. While she absolutely adores dancing, her classes are all strength training based! If you want to increase your muscle mass, grow your booty, and strengthen your arms and core, sign up for Jenny's strength classes! If you are someone who truly doesn't feel comfortable dancing but want to be part of the studio, this is a great first class.

Keek’s hip hop classes are just amazing! She brings it all; from cool hip hop footwork to twerking and booty shaking, to sexy heels inspired floor work routines. Keeks is a dancer and musician, and this combo is so evident in her kick ass playlists. Expect a lot of throwbacks and club hits, you will be singing along the whole time.

What else can we say other than her class is an hour of nonstop fun! If you have any nerves coming into a hip hop class for the first time, she will make you feel at ease. (Fun fact, every new instructor at YES HONEY is required to take Keek’s classes in training, they are just that good). Also, please note if Keeks yells at you to “WERK IT!” across the room it comes from a place of love.

Kelley would have never tried a dance class YesHoney if it weren’t for yoga. As a kid, she was the one constantly tripping over her own feet. It wasn’t until she started a regular yoga practice in 2011 that something started to change. Yoga finally helped her feel at home in her body. Kelly attributes a lot of her confidence and go-with-the-flow attitude to yoga. Movement no longer felt awkward, it was joyful!

Kelley is 500hr RYT with a 10+ year yoga teaching career. From private lessons to founding Offbeat Yoga studio, she has done just about everything in the yoga and wellness field. She’s even created her own class format called Fem Flow. But by far the favorite part about teaching yoga is making people listen to her playlist (jk 😉 ). She strives to make each of her classes unique with a blend of sweat, sensuality and heart. In her free time, she likes to write, see live music or just lay in bed “researching” content trends.

As a self described musical theater baby that's versed in many forms of dance, be warned of the ability to go from Beyoncé to Barbra Streisand real quick. Expect varying styles of dance. Bring your love of musicals and goofiness to this high energy, sultry, chorus kickin' musical theater/JAZZ class. (Can't forget the jazz).

Lawrence is creative and a natural performer. They will literally make you feel like you are in a Broadway show while you are sweating it out. This class is truly breaking the mold of a conventional workout, one you WON'T want to miss!

Mary moved back to STL by way of Chicago, where she made her mark on the fitness community. Mary pulls in elements of HIIT, barre, and functional strength training into every one of her classes. And if she’s subbing YES MOVE, prepare yourself for a cardio dance party! 

Fun fact about Mary… she accomplished a life goal and wrote a book before her 25th birthday! “Run My World: How I Empowered  Myself Through Fitness” is about overcoming her eating disorder and realizing how FUN fitness can be. You can find it on Amazon! 

If Mary isn’t in the studio, running, or traveling the world for work, she is most likely spending time with her puppy, Orbit.

Melissa “ Mo” Allen is a professional dancer, choreographer, & aerialist. She has endless experience including dancing for the NBA, Ringling Brothers/Barnum & Bailey Circus, & performing at the Fox Theatre. MO also studied the work of Joseph Pilates under Elizabeth Larkam in California and has been teaching Pilates since 1999. She has managed studios in San Francisco and Las Vegas and, after taking a break to raise her five kiddos, she’s back to celebrate the body-mind-spirit connection! she produced and starred in her one-woman show “Aerial Tinker”, a monologue of her history as a performer and mother- interspersed with trapeze and dance. That show has blossomed into producing a “cheer squad” for local theatre, called The Fringettes. Melissa studied the work of Joseph Pilates under Elizabeth Larkam in California and has been teaching Pilates since 1999. She has managed studios in San Francisco and Las Vegas and, after taking a break to raise five kids, she’s back to cultivate a safe space for learning about the body-mind-spirit connection.

Natalie began practicing yoga in 2015 and found that her time on the mat was the best place to experience and empower her mind and body. The profound effects of yoga practice have influenced her as a mother, professional, musician, and business owner. In 2016 she received 200 Hour certification at Urban Breath’s Yoga Teacher Training Program, in 2022 she completed an additional 200 hour certification in 2022 through Yoga Source, and in 2023 she completed a 300hr advanced yoga teacher training with emphasis in the autonomic nervous system and ELDOA theories.

Natalie’s personal practices include mediation, vinyasa, yin, hatha, and restorative branches. Classes with Natalie are gentle, mindful, and geared towards slowing down and moving inward. She has over 20 years of experience teaching music to kids, teens, and adults and often uses sound and music to compliment her classes.

While she is not teaching yoga she can be found teaching music, reading, dancing, performing, listening to or creating music, or spending time her son Isaac.

Mindful Movement: great for beginners and those with experience, in this class we move intentionally, deepen, and find movement within the poses. Expect meditation and breath work at the beginning and end of each class.

Catch Nick on Sunday evenings alternating leading our advanced YES CHOREO Hip Hop class! He is known for his innovative, fresh and creative choreography. As well as his amazing taste in music!

Nick is a professional dancer with 411 South Dance out of ATL, and dances with Kode Redd here in STL! While Nick’s passion is Hip Hop, he is also classically trained in jazz, ballet, modern, tap, and West African dance.

Nick is kind, gentle, empathetic, genuine, and we are so happy to have him on our team.

Victoria is a ray of sunshine, and brings her positive motivation to us every Sunday in her Strength class. Victoria’s background is in barre fitness and in her YES STRENGTH classes you’ll challenge your balance and core engagement throughout class. She’ll guide you through a combination of total body work and isolated muscle movements to feel good beats. Is it Victoria’s pop playlists or her gorgeous voice, but somehow we zen out while she has every muscle in our body shaking! Look forward to low impact work and options for layering on the level of intensity and cardio.
